By essentially hacking the algorithm, this Facebook Live Trivia series increased engagement by over 400% and boosted webinar registrations by 25%.

The idea was simple. Adopting the same approach from NowThis Future, I partnered with our production team to create a game where we’d ask 20 trivia questions about each month’s webinar topic.

We’d show a question and a countdown timer would give guests 25 seconds to write their answer in the comments.

The result? A steady flood of comments over the course of 10 minutes, which equated to a ton of engagement on our platform, and piqued interest to join the webinar.

It became our second-highest registration driver behind email.
